Natasha Rosling

Natasha Rosling (London 1985) is based in the UK. Her large-scale installations and performances are underpinned by a fascination with how the human subject negotiates the world - its mysterious entwining of a present physical space with personal and culturally mediated memories. Each work challenges conventional notions of environment, object, and identity - in an attempt to unravel the comfortable boundaries of corporeality. Toying with themes such as ventriloquism, hypnotism, and the circus, her ideas explore new ways of fusing sub-human, non-human or super human realities into every day places and situations. Rosling works and exhibits internationally, is represented by Hidde van Seggelen Gallery, London, and is an active member of the pan-European research platform Vision Forum.
